Dr. K. Bettina Royston graduated from Hunter Huss High School in 1985. She performed her undergraduate work at Lenoir Rhyne College in Hickory, NC. where she earned a Bachelor’s degree of Science in Biology in 1989. She then continued her education at Logan College of Chiropractic in St. Louis, MO. In December 1992, she graduated at the top of her class, Magna Cum Laude, with a Doctorate of Chiropractic. While in professional school, Dr. Royston underwent extensive internship training at a number of locations which included Montgomery Health Center Clinic and Radiology Consultants - Midwest both in Chesterfield, MO as well as clinics in Dellwood, MO and Whiteville, NC. Following graduation, in 1993, she joined the Bradley Chiropractic Clinic in Gastonia, N.C. Also in 1993, she was selected and served as a physician for the 1993 Ironman Triathlon in Kona, Hawaii. In 1996, Dr. Royston completed greater than 100 hours of postgraduate education to become a Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician. She is a member of the American Chiropractic Association and the A.C.A Sports Council. She served the maximum two terms as a board member of the Gaston County chapter of the American Red Cross and she is a past chairperson of the health and safety committee of the Red Cross. She is also a certified instructor of the Protect Your Back Classes given by the Red Cross. Most recently, though, Dr. Royston has become an adjunctive member of the faculty of Logan College of Chiropractic. She also has her certification to perform acupuncture and regularly attends seminars and classes to stay up to date. In addition, Dr. Royston is involved with the community and is an active member of her church. She has given many lectures to such events as summer sports camps and local school career events in the Gastonia area.
Dr. Bradley received his Doctorate in Chiropractic from the prestigious Logan College of Chiropractic in St. Louis, Missouri after completing his under graduate requirements at the University of South Florida. After an internship in Chattanooga Tennessee, he came to Gastonia in 1981 and opened the Bradley Chiropractic Clinic.
His main purpose is to provide the highest quality of care with a strong personal touch. Dr. Bradley has taken extensive postgraduate studies in acupuncture, applied kinesiology, x-ray pathology, and accident injuries among others. Dr. Bradley has had the honor of being appointed by Governor Mike Easley to the North Carolina Board of Chiropractic Examiners. He served as vice president for 2007 and then the president for 2008. He is a member of the American Chiropractic Association and the North Carolina Chiropractic Association. He also served as the North Carolina Delegate to the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners from 2002 through 2008. He is a certified member of the FMCSA national registry to perform DOT physicals for commercial drivers. In the community, Dr. Bradley is a member of the Gastonia East Rotary, the Chamber of Commerce and is a board member of the Salvation Army.
